28 Mar 2017**Bramley Villagers claim the Stan Brooke Team Trophy**After edging out Drighlington last night in a close fought affair. Not a great scoring occasion but crucial pots on the final colours by both teams ensured the match was still in the balance going into the final frame. John Metcalfe (Bramley Villagers) had a 56 point advantage going into the last frame with Mark Chester (Drighlington), giving 17 start to Mark, the lead was 39 but this proved to be enough as John saw the frame out safely to see the trophy heading to Bramley Villagers.
Unlucky Drighlington, great achievement making it to the final. A big thank you to NSC, once again providing an excellent venue and playing facilities. Thank you also to Alex Crum, match referee for officiating an excellent final.
