13 Nov 2019##Competition reminder##A reminder that the closing date for all competition preliminary rounds is this Sunday the 17th Nov.
Match results will not be accepted after this date unless prior agreement has been given by one of the competition secretaries.

02 Nov 2019**MAJOR HANDICAP REVIEW**This week has been a major handicap review and is now complete.
The criteria for the major handicap review means any player with a winning percentage above 60 or any player with a losing percentage below 40 with a 4/6 frame win/loss difference have been adjusted.
Some players may not have played recently but it is possible their handicaps could have changed.

Hunslet Carr's Paul Turner and Tom Oates won yesterday's pairs handicap and £100 first prize defeating Harehills WMC duo Ant Sumner and Michael Calvert 2-1 in the final. The Plate competition was a "family" affair, father and son Dave and Daniel Boyes beating Carl and Joe Moore in the final.

NSC,s Sanderson Lam won yesterday's NSC sponsored one day event, beating Harehills WMC player Ant Sumner in the final.
Lam needed an 83 break in his semi-final decider against Middleton,s Graham Marsden to win on the black, whilst Sumner came from 71 behind to win a respotted black in his semi-final decider against Daniel Boyes.
Hunslet,s Paul Turner won the plate competition beating James Pears in the final.
It's the LBSO sponsored pairs handicap next Sunday.

All competitions have now been drawn. Preliminary Rounds closing date is Sun 17th November with all 1st Round matches due to be played by Sunday 29th December.
