The Draws for the Stan Brooke Singles, Doubles and Team events have now been completed.
The dates for the rounds drawn are as follows:

Singles: Preliminary - Sunday 4th January & First Round - Sunday 18th January.
Doubles: Preliminary - Sunday 11th January & First Round - Sunday 1st February.
Team: Preliminary - Sunday 11th January & First Round - Sunday 8th February.

Any fees not yet paid will be due at the delegates meeting on Monday 12th January.

Results will NOT appear on the website immediately after being submitted so please only submit your results ONCE.

WITH EFFECT IMMEDIATELY FROM MONDAY 8th DECEMBER 2014.
At the meeting on Monday 8th December 2014, after first voting to go ahead on the night, delegates then voted overwhelmingly (43 votes to 2), to approve a Committee proposal to adopt a different approach in relation to PART of the 'foul and a miss' rule with immediate effect!
Therefore, WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT, in ALL league matches and also ALL competitions, where the striker is SNOOKERED and then fails to hit a ball 'on', irrespective of the scores in relation to any player, the striker will foul, but NO 'MISS' will be called under ANY circumstances (unless it is blatantly INTENTIONAL i.e. a 'push-out' to the side or bottom cushions when snookered behind a baulk colour).
Further, the OTHER TWO COMPULSORY PARTS of the rule - 1.) any part of a ball on & 2.) central full ball contact can be made with a "clear path" to a ball 'on' - will CONTINUE to be adopted in FULL, so that a foul and a MISS will "ALWAYS" be called (unless the usual exceptions apply - see "About Us / Rules & Policies").

The semi-finals and Finals for the Leeds City Championships will take place at the Northern Snooker Centre on the following dates:

Semi-Finals: Monday 16th - Thursday 19th March & Monday 23rd -Thursday 26th March.

Finals: Tuesday 6th April - Friday 9th April.

The next delegates meeting takes place this Monday 8th December at Holbeck WMC starting officially at 7-45pm.
The agenda is now posted on the website and will also be circulated to all captains / delegates. It should be obvious why it is important that ALL clubs are represented at Monday's meeting.
ALL OUTSTANDING FEES for the Sykes Cup and Len Lee Pairs, must also be settled at this meeting.

The draws for the Preliminary and First Round of the Len Lee Pairs and the Preliminary Round of the Sykes Cup have now been made, can both players/teams endeavour to arrange the fixture and ensure all fixtures are played by the respective closing dates (Len Lee Pairs: 21st December - Preliminary, 11th January - First Round. Sykes Cup 21st December - Preliminary, First Round to be drawn after next delegates meeting).

This weeks handicap review may be subject to change due to 2 outstanding results in Division (H). Please can captains in (H) Division check for any changes between now and Wednesday due to the late results from the outstanding fixtures.
