The LBSO presentation evening for the 2023/24 season will be held at South Leeds Conservative Club on Wednesday 17th July, which will also incorporate a 'Race Night'

More details will be circulated in due course..

One final reminder of the meeting due to take place tomorrow, at South Leeds Conservative Club in the upstairs room, which starts officially at 7-45pm, although as normal we will be there earlier to start things off.

As previously indicated, the meeting is primarily to register teams for the 2024-25 season, which will take up most of the evening. 
Although, other present and future updates and reports will then be given, once registrations have been completed. 

Official receipts for fees already received and for those paid on the night will be available as normal at the meeting. 
Please take note - Any payments made by bank transfer tomorrow after 17-30, will NOT be checked until after the meeting.

Finally, ANNUAL TROPHIES are also due to be returned tomorrow for engraving, and details of the clubs / teams involved have been circulated separately.

As the snooker season is coming to a close, if anyone is interested in joining my golf society (made up generally of players within the LBSO) all good fun, with lots of banter!

Registration forms will NOT be accepted without FEES - & visa versa-

A word and PDF versions of the REGISTRATION FORM have been uploaded on the website for you to download and print off yourself, to COMPLETE and bring to the meeting - go to tab "About Us / Documents" to find the forms-

PAYMENT OF FEES (£130 per team) are welcomed at anytime prior to the meeting by bank transfer - LBSO bank details are given on the form-

PLEASE NOTE- whilst NO AGENDA will be produced, the meeting will divert to other matters, but this will NOT include discussion about any LBSO RULES, which will be an item as normal for the AGM in September.

Both legs MUST be played before Sunday 2nd June.

Just another reminder of the upcoming meeting at South Leeds Conservative Club 7-45pm Monday 20th May.

Could you make sure you fill all details on the registration forms correctly we will not accept forms filled in with "same as last year" forms must include current handicaps captains contact details and IT delegate details if required.

Tick the box for new players with a realistic handicap recommendation. If players are transferring from a different team please indicate this on the form.

All registration forms must be accompanied with full payment £130 per team otherwise they will not be accepted.

Payment by bank transfer is preferred but we will also accept cheque or cash. Bank transfer details are on the registration form and can be made prior to the evening.

This is the ONLY chance to register your teams once the meeting is over only clubs/teams that have filled in forms with full payment will be entered into the new season.

We will welcome new clubs/ teams to register subject to the leagues having space for new entrants.

Belle Isle WMC defeated last years winners Garforth WMC in tonight's Stan Brooke Team final.

First on for Belle Isle was Michael Leak (41), and a 101-84 victory against Tony Friend(60) put his team 17 points in front.
That lead was increased to 18 when Arron Hilliam (41) beat Simon Shepherd (30) by 86-85.
The third frame saw Garforth record their first victory when Robert Friend (29) defeated Graham Bluff (27) 82-68.
So going into the final frame Belle Isle held a slender 4 point lead and it was all to play for.
Belle Isle's Craig Hodges (24) was receiving 44 start from Danny Dean (-20) and that lead was soon extended to over 60 after a good start by Hodges. Try as he might Dean could not reduce the deficit and by the time Hodges potted the final red he was still 60 in front and the match was won.
The frame ended up 96-29 to Hodges which made the overall aggregate score 351-280.
