In the quarterfinals Lewis Harper defeated Dylan Myers 2-0, Stanley Moody came through a tight match to win 2-1 against Samuel Lee Stevens, Liam Pullen beat Bailey Fisher, and Bailey's twin Riley had a great win over Isa Ishtiaq.
In the semi-finals Liam Pullen beat Riley Fisher 2-0 and Lewis Harper squeezed past Stanley Moody 2-1.
The Final will take place on Monday 11th March at 6:30.

13 Jan 2019##Dylan Myers and Adam Rennison shine in Leeds Pairs Qualifying##

There were 17 entries for this year's Leeds Pairs competition. At the last minute New Wortley youngster Dylan Myers, who had been let down by his partner, was given a chance to pair up with Harehills Labour's Adam Rennison who had come along to support his club colleagues, and the youthful pairing took full advantage of the opportunity by reaching April's final where they will meet pre-tournament favourites Jonathan Bagley and Dan Womersley.
The favourites saw off Mohammed Ishtiaq and son Isa in the first round, Isa coming into the tournament on the back of a win in the Yorkshire U16 competition the day before. In the quarterfinals, Bagley and Womersley looked to be on their way out as they trailed Ryan Walton and Tommy Doherty by 40 points with only a couple of reds left in the decider. They rode their luck however and a fine pot on the pink followed by a pressure black from Womersley saw them home. They then defeated Stephen Broadhead and Chris Hart 3-0 to reach the final, the key moment in the match was when they won the second frame after needing a snooker on pink and black.
In the other half of the draw Myers and Rennison started with a tight win over Belle Isles Paul Whitaker and Paul Gannon, before overcoming Lewis Harper and Shannon Metcalf 3-2 in the quarters.
In the semi they faced the experienced Gildersome duo of Danny Byrne and Michael Gaughan. In a match played in excellent spirit, they found themselves 2-1 down and 30 behind but undeterred Myers clawed them back into the frame before an excellent 30odd clearance by Rennison saw them level at 2-2. The decider followed the same pattern, the Gildersome duo taking the lead before being pegged back by Myers, with Rennison stepping up to calmly clear the colours to take frame and match. Further proof if any were needed, that the future of snooker in Leeds is in safe hands.
The final takes place at the NSC on Monday 15th April and is sure to be well supported as the young duo attempt to upset the odds one more time.
