The following competitions will be running in January at the NSC.

Sunday January 6th -A one day charity knockout handicap competition.
Open to all LBSO registered players, entry fee is £10 per player with a donation from each entry fee going to the Anthony Nolan Cancer Charity. Sponsored by the LBSO, matches will be best of 3 with a one frame plate competition for first round losers. Start time is 10am, with a guaranteed £100 first prize.

Start time is 10am entry is free. Players who have not participated in a league match this season must reside in the Leeds area to be eligible for entry.

Saturday 19th January is the qualifying date for this year's Leeds U16 competition. Entrants must reside in the Leeds area or be a member of the NSC coaching academy. This one starts at 11:30 and entry is free.

Closing date Sunday February 3rd.

Many Happy Returns to our League Secretary Paul Grimes on his 60th Birthday today.
Now in his 6th season in the post, Paul has already put a great deal of his time and effort into what is a near 'all year round role', which he is clearly very committed to.
Keep up the good work Paul, and once again Happy Birthday from your colleagues on the committee and everybody connected with the LBSO.

New handicaps come into force from Monday 12th November.

The major handicap review is now complete.

Please check for adjustments from review dates 1/11 - 2/11 and 4/11.

New handicaps need to be used if you have any competiton matches to play today.

New handicaps for league matches need to be used from Wednesday/Thursday.

All players that have been adjusted in this review were above 60 or below 40 winnng percentage with a +/- 4/6 frames difference.

The next handicap review criteria will be a regular week which you can see in the posting in news and events from 30/9/18.

Thanks for your patience the review takes up many hours and cannot be completed in one day.
