This weeks handicap review has once again adjusted any players who was +/- 4 frames with an average win/loss of +/- 25.

Also any players who were on +/- 6 frames win/loss difference.

The draws for the Sykes Cup, Stan Brooke Pairs and Leeds Team competitions are now live.
Please note it is the responsibility of BOTH players/teams to make contact and agree a suitable date asap once your opponent is known.

This weeks handicap criteria has adjusted players who were on +/- 4 frames with a win/loss average frame score of +/- 25.
It has also adjusted players who were on +/- 6 frames win/loss regardless of frame win/loss margin.

New handicaps come into force from Monday 17th September.

Criteria for the handicap review is all players who have won/lost by +/- 25 average frame score have been adjusted.

When a player has a win/loss 6 frame margin they will be adjusted no matter what their average win/loss is.

If any team needs to register new players I must be informed via email no later than 3pm of the day of the fixture, Wednesday or Thursday in order to give me time to put in place.

Do not play any new player until you have recieved confirmation that the player has been registered.

Please do not play unregistered players as the website does not recognise these players any points won by playing unregistered players will be forfeited.

Thank you to all those who attended the AGM last night.
It was still a good turnout (47 clubs) if not quite as good as last year (50).
Club reps who attended collected scorebooks for all teams from their clubs (& in some cases others). Those who haven't collected their scorebooks will now have to do so from Bob Patterson.
RULE CHANGES - 4 AMENDMENTS WERE AGREED BY THOSE AT LAST NIGHT's MEETING.
IN SUMMARY THEY WERE-
1. HOME TEAM RULES - Rule 5 was amended to delete reference to 'lady players / visitors' and deflect the LBSO from any kind of club rule which is discriminatory in any way.
2. LEAGUE TABLES - TEAMS ON SAME POINTS - Rule 12 amended to retain, change and clarify the exisitng 3 clauses and add a fourth.
**PLEASE NOTE, THE EXISTING WORDING AT THE FOOT OF EACH LEAGUE TABLE MAY NOT CHANGE FOR A WHILE!**
3. RULE 13 - TEAMS RELEGATED - an additional sentence to clarify what has always been the case, that the number of teams to be relegated from any division may not be the same as the number promoted - 3.
4. COMPETITION RULE - UNDER 18's - clarification that where clubs dont allow under 18's and ties have to be arranged for neutral or the opponents venue, this applies to both legs of a 2-legged semi-final, now played home & away.

Closing date for entries for all these competitions is Sat 29th September.

Following the change in the way league entry fees are structured these competitions are effectively free to enter for all registered players.

Please ensure if you enter these competitions you are fully committed to fulfilling any fixtures you are involved in.
