21 Sep 2014* HANDICAP REVIEW*This weeks handicap review is now complete, you can view by clicking on handicaps from the drop down menu.
New handicaps come into force from Monday 22nd September.
On a separate note can you please take extra care submitting results as I need to spend time chasing round to rectify.
As a consequence some players profiles do not show their correct statistics and need to be amended by the website designer.
Can ALL teams take note once again please, that the WHITE CUE BALL should NOT be lighter, smaller or lighter and smaller, than the other snooker balls in a set.
Even taking into account the official tolerances from the WPBSA rules, in size (+/-0.05mm), weight (3 grammes / 1/10 of an oz), or even both, there should be NO noticable differance.
Therefore, can those teams who know they have light, small whites, or both, please replace them; and, for those teams who are NOT aware, please don't be offended if you are asked to do so!
SINGLE WHITE CUE BALLS can be purchased at most local suppliers or on line at slender cost.
Light / small white cue balls, can for instance make a total mockery of the handicap system, which many of you religiously swear by!
The first handicap review of the new season has been done and can be viewed by clicking on handicaps from the drop down menu.
New handicaps come into force from Monday 13th September.
Sadly we have had the Northern Snooker (A) team withdraw from the B division before a ball has been potted. Can all captains in the B division note that there is now a bye in that division.
